Do you know what the difference is between a job and a career?

A job is a place where you do work, in order to get paid and cover the bills.

A career is a place where you do work, in order to get paid and cover the bills, but there's room to grow and advance, improve your skills, make more money, or even open your own business, and be your own boss.

It's easy to see why some people get them confused - but no one who moves from a job to a career ever makes that mistake again.

That's why it's so cool that the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy allows you to train for a real career, from your own home. You can do all your "book learning" at home, or from anywhere with an internet connection, and there's no rush.

You can finish the whole course right away, in just a month or so, or you can take as long as you need.

So what does it take to enroll in a Dermysk Academy training program?

You might be surprised, all you really need is a high school diploma or some form of relevant work experience. These classes are open to anyone and cover everything required to work in a Med Spa, including details about health and safety regulations, legal concerns, and industry-specific business strategies.

Do you want to get certified for chemical peels, micro-needling, laser hair removal, and fractional ablation? That's easy, all of those techniques, and a whole lot more, are covered in the Basic training. That's all you really need to get started - graduates of the Basic training are fully certified, experienced, and ready to begin their new careers right away.

What if you want to learn more than the Basics though?

Well, you've got options - 3 of them, to be specific.

1. You could take the Basic training, then start your career, and return months or years from now to take the Advanced course.

2. You could take the Basic training, then immediately enroll in the Advanced class.

3. You could skip the Basic training, and enroll directly in the Master-level training... but more on that in a minute.

In the Advanced training, which requires either graduation from the Basic course or at least 5 years of Med Spa experience, you can gain certification in more complex procedures, and learn more about the underlying physics and biology of popular techniques. This course also teaches methods for dealing with health complications or difficult clients.

The Advanced course is what you're looking for if your goal is to do Cool Sculpting, laser gynecology, or other complex procedures - but as I mentioned earlier, it's not your only option.

While you can learn almost everything from the Basic and Advanced courses, the Dermysk Academy also has a Master-level course that includes all of the previous training, plus additional content. That means that if you take this course, you don't need to take the Basic or Advanced training, you'll learn even more than in those classes, and you'll get a Master of Medical Aesthetics certificate when you graduate.

As a Master of Medical Aesthetics you'll be fully certified in practically every Med Spa technique there is - except for the few that can only be performed by registered physicians and nurses.

You could learn those techniques too, the Dermysk Academy definitely teaches them - but it does certainly require a lot more schooling, and getting your doctor's or nurse's license is not something they can help you with.

Don't worry though, with all the new techniques you'll learn, you'll definitely be busy enough.
