Once upon a time, the way we're told it worked, is that you would work for a company for most of your life, and now and then you would ask your boss for a raise.

That company would take care of you, and you would take care of them, till death do you part.

Yeah, right.

I don't know if that was ever true - but I can tell you that's not how it works today, not in Canada, and if you're expecting some dead-end job to take care of you, it's not going to end well.

In today's society, you need to take care of yourself - though that doesn't mean you can't have a little bit of help along the way. Help like, oh, I don't know...

Maybe a handy podcast that explains how to get a sweet new work-from-home gig, where you can be your own boss, set your own hours, and where there's lots of room for advancement?

No, that's not quite right - this is better than that, even. You don't have to work from home, that's just one of the options... but we'd better back up a few steps.

What I'm trying, badly, to tell you about, is a new training option from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy. Heard of it?

I'm guessing you have - if not as a school, then as a MedSpa clinic at least, because they have locations scattered all over the country - and there's probably one near you right now.

The reason it matters, the reason this particular school, for this particular job matters - is because it's your way into a sweet new career, that's in super-high demand.

Ever since the end of the pandemic, there has been a growing demand for MedSpa employees, both for local clinics and as at-home entrepreneurs. You've probably even heard of it - though not as a "demand for MedSpa workers," you probably heard it referred to as the "Zoom Effect."

Well, here's how you turn the Zoom Effect into a big bonus for yourself, in the form of a great new career: with the Dermysk Academy, of course.

I know, there are probably other training options - but I've got my reasons for choosing Dermysk, so let me explain.

First off, they don't make you sit in a boring classroom every day. They know that you have another job, a family, or other responsibilities - and you'll do the schooling when you can, so that's how they set it up.

At least for the Basic training, but that's enough for now. It covers a dozen popular techniques, and if you want to learn more, you can always go back for the Advanced class. You won't need anything else, because the Basic course is the prerequisite for the Advanced one.

Once you're done with the 7 online modules, you can schedule your practical training at the nearest Dermysk location, to get hands-on experience with everything you just learned. Their instructors will walk you through each technique, and you'll get a chance to practice on simulated clients and real ones - using real aesthetician tools.

It's a lot of work in just one week, but you'll get all the experience you need to be comfortable performing these techniques in the workplace - even if that workplace is your living room.
