Lower Manhattan Gluten-Free Lunch: Dine At The Best Plant-Based French Bistro
If you’ve always wanted to try French fine dining but you don’t know a place that can accommodate your dietary needs, Delice & Sarrasin is pleased to be offering a new upscale gluten-free lunch menu.
For a touch of France in New York, you are now invited to take a leisurely lunch at Delice & Sarrasin. The plant-based bistro's new vegan and gluten-free lunch menu Mondays through to Sundays.
If you’re one of the 30% of Americans who are now eating a gluten-free diet, the head chef at Delice & Sarrasin, Yvette Caron, has designed a new lunch menu that captures the classic tastes and dishes of French cooking, and remakes them without allergens like gluten.
If you have always wanted to try iconic dishes like Boeuf Bourguignon, Escalope de Poulet aux Epinards a la Creme and Coq au Vin, you can now enjoy Caron’s interpretation of these meals both completely animal-free and gluten-free.
With French cooking often evoking images of crepes and pastries, Delice & Sarrasin also has a new selection of both savory and sweet galettes and crepes, which they especially recommend to you if you are looking to enjoy a gourmet but lighter lunch. One new savory highlight you’re sure to love is their Mr Petrossian, which has Konjac smoked vegan ‘salmon,’ plant-based creme fraiche, avocado puree and dill.
If you want to finish with dessert, new highlights like their almond milk chocolate cake are also gluten-free.
Head Chef Yvette Caron and her team are equally passionate about catering to you if you have another allergy, like dairy, nuts or soy, and in addition to being predominately gluten-free, their new lunch menu is also free from these allergens. The restaurant offers you a clearly coded menu and their waitstaff and kitchen staff are pleased to answer any of your questions and accommodate all of your dietary needs.
Delice & Sarrasin can be found at 178 West Houston Street, entrance on Bedford. They are now open seven days for brunch, lunch and dinner.
Their spokesperson said, “Nestled in a cozy corner, Delice & Sarrasin invites you to embark on a culinary adventure where traditional French recipes are reimagined with a vegan twist. Our chef meticulously craft each dish, ensuring that no compromise is made when it comes to taste, texture, or presentation.”
