Dogs go through developmental phases just like humans do, and like humans, they sometimes need help navigating them. That's where Elements K9 Training comes in!

The Redding, CA dog training facility offers programs designed to nurture your dog's natural abilities so they can be comfortable and well-behaved in both private and social settings. The programs are available in physical and virtual formats and can be tailored to your dog’s specific developmental needs.

Elements K9 Training offers three different training programs for dogs. Its standard program is its Private Lessons, which are one-on-one sessions between your dog and their trainer, set up as frequently as you want. These sessions can be done at Elements’ facility or a location of your choosing.

Their second program, Board and Train, is a comprehensive program in which your dog is kept at Elements K9 Training’s facility for an extended period. This allows them to get more comfortable with the trainers and their surroundings, and it gives the trainers more time to work with your dog and get a better understanding of their needs.

If you prefer a remote option, Elements K9 Training also offers its Virtual Program. With this program, sessions are conducted over Zoom, meaning your dog can learn and practice things from a setting they are already familiar with. This option also affords you a bit more convenience as far as where and when the training takes place.

All of Elements K9 Training’s programming is delivered by master dog trainer Garrett Beckwith and his support staff. They have all been professionally trained and certified in canine behavior modification, and they understand how to properly communicate and interact with dogs.

As far as what is taught during the programs, this all depends on your dog's specific needs, your goals for them, and how quickly they progress. In many cases, only basic behavior and obedience training is required. In other cases, things like eating and sleep habits, potty training, and walking etiquette need to be taught.

To determine which program is best for your dog, Elements K9 Training starts with an initial interview. During this interview, you'll fill out some forms on the dog's history and background, and their daily routine. Once this has been done, their trainers will meet with your dog and start developing a program that is in line with their needs.
