Work As A Full-Time School Chaplain In Angleton & Foster Character In Students
As a school chaplain, you can be a front-line defender against the moral crisis that is affecting public schools across the U.S. Today’s children and teenagers deserve compassionate, understanding, uplifting and empowering spiritual guidance and pastoral care.
Are you ready to serve?
The National School Chaplain Association is pleased to be offering you a new opportunity to become a school chaplain following the passing of the Chaplain Bill this year. The association’s intensive online training program is a short two-month course that is run through their partner, Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma, and you can commence your studies at any time. At the completion of the course, the NSCA will connect you with a school in your community or one nearby.
The NSCA is reaching out specifically to you if you are a member of the Angleton community who is possessed of strong morals and values and if you are an active follower of the Christian faith—a two-year degree and ministry, youth work or teaching experience is preferred but not essential.
As the NSCA explains, the goal of the school chaplain is to foster character and moral values in public education, which, as many U.S. conservatives today identify, is severely lacking. The National School Chaplain Association has seen that with Christian, ethical and moral teachings having been all but banished from public schools, many students are now adrift—with anxiety, depression, loneliness, bullying and gender confusion all at all-time highs. Therefore, they believe that, as a chaplain, you will have a particularly important role to play in offering spiritual guidance and assisting youth character development.
With the Chaplain Bill paving the way for a return of moral education in public schools, the National School Chaplain Association is now actively canvassing for people who feel called to serve and who believe they can offer students uplifting counsel from a Biblical perspective.
If you’re one of them, today is the best day to start the path to your calling.
As the NSCA is the State of Texas’ preferred chaplain provider, you will be a highly competitive graduate, and the association will offer you a wide range of support services to ensure you can find the right position in a school in or near to your community.
A spokesperson for the leading chaplaincy body said, “School chaplaincy provides an exciting and rewarding career path, now with full-time benefits in a growing number of U.S. states, including Texas. We invite you to unlock your potential to make a profound impact on the lives of students as a certified school chaplain.”
There can be no more rewarding career than one where you bring hope, purpose, and faith to the next generation.
